PRODUCT DETAILS
Construction: This 16”x16” Pro Multi-Surface Microfiber Towel is a great microfiber towel for your motorcycle. These lint free terry type microfiber towels are made up of hundreds of thousands of split fibers which allow the cloths to clean aggressively without being abrasive. They are safe to use on all Harley Paint, Chrome, Plastic, Vinyl, Leather, Wheels, Anodized surfaces & Mirrors.
These Microfiber Towels are constructed from woven polyester / polyamide blend microfiber. The open spaces in the fibers created by the splitting process are what give the towels its ability to hold dust and dirt as well as its ability to absorb liquid. The edges of the towels are sewn with over lock stitching which greatly increases the life of the towel. When cared for properly our 16”x16” All Purpose Microfiber Towels can last hundreds of washings.
Method of Use: When using this 16”x16” MicrofiberTowels it’s usually best to fold the microfiber towel twice. This gives you eight cleaning surfaces with each towel. One of the greatest things about microfiber towels is that they allow you to clean effectively without added chemical cleaners, microfiber towels work extremely well with just plain water. The dry method is great for dusting, cleaning paint, chrome and mirrors. Once you’ve collected dust and dirt you can rinse the towel and continue using it damp to remove smudged dirt, grease or stains.
CARING FOR MICROFIBER:
Caring for microfiber is pretty easy if you know the rules. These towels can last hundreds of washings if you stay away from the 2 big no-nos for microfiber:
- No Heat in the dryer!
- No Fabric Softeners!
Instructions for Washing at Home:
- Wash in warm or hot water with mild detergent
- No fabric softeners – they clog the open spaces in the microfiber, making the fabric useless
- Be careful what you wash with your microfiber. Avoid anything made with cotton because the microfiber will grab on to the lint
- Ideally wash microfiber with only microfiber but if you must mix loads, wash with other non-linting synthetics. Like anything you wash, be sure to separate your white or light colored microfiber from your dark colored microfiber.
- If you hand wash, wash in hot water with mild detergent and use a soft bristled brush if necessary – rinse thoroughly
Drying Microfiber at Home
- To ensure the longest lasting microfiber, air dry is best
- Microfiber dries relatively quickly
- If you use a dryer, set it on low heat or no heat
- Dry with other microfiber products only so that it doesn’t pick up extra lint
