FEATURES & SPECS:
- Precision CNC Cut From Billet 6061
- Your Choice of Black or Aluminum Finish
- 1 Oil Filter Adapter (with o-ring)
- 1 Oil Filter Mount
- Nickel Plated Brass Fittings
- This is NOT a complete kit, nor does it come with instructions.
- Included are one Oil Filter Mount (which you can mount your oil filter to) and one Oil Filter Adapter (which screws onto your engine in place of the stock position of the oil filter)
- These parts are to replace the old style cast adapters on your Cool-n-Clean Oil Filter Relocation Kit
- These components can be used if you want to build your own mounting brackets for an Oil Filter Relocation of your own design.
- The included adapters are Made in The USA. Precision CNC Cut by DK Custom from 6061 Billet Aluminum.
- You have a choice of either a semi-polished aluminum finish or Black Powder Coat Finish. If you choose the aluminum, they are not a mirror-polish finish, but with a little buffing work you can make them look like chrome.
- Quality Nickel Plated brass hose fittings are included. They fit standard 3/8" (ID) oil hose, and the nipples are 1" in length

Quality Value
So, anyone who’s changed the filter on a Sporty will appreciate the ease of access and immensely simpler process of swapping in a fresh filter. The option I went with, the filter mount with the three hole flange gave me the option to make my own strap bracket and mount it on the left side beneath my existing HD oil cooler. On my 2005 I was able to locate that filter bracket on the lowest tube section of frame, beside/ to the left of the voltage regulator.
Four hoses between the filter and the cooler. When you’re routing your hoses and DK points this out, take care to avoid chafe points.
