Custom Tuned to Your Bike & Your Riding Style/Loads
- Co-Developed with DK Custom Products, these 14" Pro-Action Deluxe Touring Shocks are a Break-Through in Ride Quality for Harley-Davidson Touring Models.
- Designed Specifically for 2-up Riding or Solo riders of 300#'s or more. If you ride only solo, and weigh less than 300#'s, the 13" Pro-Action Shocks at this Link will give just as good of a ride.
- With More Travel, afforded by the 14" Shocks, the ability to eat up small and large bumps, turning the harshest jolt into a smooth dip is un-matched.
- The T6061 Billet aluminum bodies house a unique 3-stage progressive valving system for compression, and a 2 stage rebound system. Coupled with "fit to you" coil over springs that have an adjustable pre-load, you will be amazed how much smoother and more stable your Bike will ride.
- These Shocks are 14 inches tall. Designed to work with the DK Custom 1" Lowering brackets, they not only give you the most suspension travel available for an HD Touring Bike, you will be sitting no higher than you are with your 13" shocks.
- When you order you will be asked some easy questions. Your answers give us the information needed to use the correct spring rate for your shocks, as well as giving us the info needed to adjust the pre-load and rebound for you. This way when you receive the shocks they are already set-up for you. If you already have 1" Lowering Blocks, simply bolt them on and ride!

Fitment:
Fits all 2009-Up Harley-Davidson Touring Models
*Note: We have not yet tested fitment of the shocks with Lowering Blocks on models that have the leather bags, so it is unknown if they will fit currently. Fitment has only been tested on Touring Models with Hard Bags and Stock Size Tires.
If you have oversized slip-ons, or slip-ons that do not have the indent near the axle that stock slip-ons have, you may have contact with the slip-ons at that point.
Make sure docking hardware for sissy bars and Tour-Paks, and any other add-ons, do not come in contact with the shock body when the shocks is fully compressed. This is usually not an issue, but with some quick-release set-ups there can be contact.
Oversized tires may hit the fender on hard bumps.
Click HERE for full details on the 1" Lowering Kit
Note if you have a trailer hitch: If your hitch mounts to the outside of the fender, there may be interference with the shocks, and it would be better to get the 13" shocks at this LINK.
If your trailer hitch mounts to the underside of the fender, there should be no inteference and you can run these shocks.
Limited Life Time Warranty Details:
Only for the original purchaser of the shocks
Does not cover accidents, fire, environmental catastrophes (submerged in a flood, etc.)
Does not cover if the shocks were abused (overloading them), improper installation
If they are installed properly, not overloaded, not damaged by some external force, then they are Lifetime shocks for the original purchaser....if they wear out, they will be rebuilt/replaced at no charge.

"I was getting ready to buy some shocks for my Ultra, and was fortunate to be able to test ride a bike with the Pro-Action/DK Custom 14" Shocks. WOW! What a great ride.
My wife could not be more happy with how much better our Ultra-Classic feels going down the road. Thank you!" - Ray

I have a 2013 road glide ultra. I bought the bike brand new and never did like the air ride suspension on the bike. I always wanted to put coil over shocks on but would never pull the trigger until I saw these from DK customs Products. The ride is so much better with these shocks going into big sweeping turns at speed the bike does not wallow around like it did before I can set A-line and keep it There very impressed with these shocks and the ride is amazing . I should have done this year's ago. Canyon carving is a real pleasure and I do alot of that. Bike is so much more stable than before.I tend to ride my bike like a sport bike in the mountains. I've done extensive work to this bike to be able to ride it like that and these shocks are the topping on the cake. Highway ride is excellent. Just got though doing 6000 miles in 14 days unfortunately these shocks were not on the bike for that but they are now. I ride everyday anywhere from 100-300 per day depends on the mood. Can't wait to see the difference now. Not that this matters but I'm 66 yrs old. I'm glad I waited and chose these shocks. Also they were setup just right out of the box very cool. Well worth the money. (Posted on 7/18/2021) -

14" DK Custom/ProAction shocks and lowering kit.
Installed yesterday and went for a 2hr ride. I gotta ask, why doesn't the bike (2012 RGU) come like this? No more bottoming, rides like a touring bike should. I think with the lowering kit the seat is slightly lower than it was, which I like.
As always DK Customs customer service is second to none. (Posted on 8/18/2019) -

Got the 14" Pro-Action Shocks from DK Custom, 1" lowering links they include.
Went for about a 80 mile ride today, reviews say the rear Pro-Action is tight until broken in at about 500 miles. I felt it was firm but sooooo much better, not a single hard/sharp spine jamming jolt. Made no adjustments, as delivered. I was on a two lane road with known bumps and rolling hard hits, one is a small creek bridge crossing that has a sharp edge and then about 50 yards hs a very sharp railroad crossing thats very bumpy. Normally I tell my wife (we have blue tooth helmet communicators) "BUMP" as we approach this crossing. Today I said nothing, after I crossed i asked her how was that. Her response....how was what I told her that was the ass busting bridge i always warn her about about and she said, Oh, yea I felt it but I didn't pay much attention to it. Normally she has a few choose words.
Bike felt great over known bumps with little issue.
I've been riding some form of bike, dirt, supermoto, sportbike/ trackdays and some racing in WERA and CCS for almost 30 years, have ridden olhins road/track forks, rears, penske, showa, white power, racetech, traxxion. I know what a good suspension feels like, so far I really like the Pro-Action rear.
Money well spent, very nice quality piece and the ride is outstanding. (Posted on 8/6/2018)
